Mark and Ari-Anne were interested in entering the blogosphere so I agreed to transfer the content on this blog over to a new one called - Fresh Farming. Now the three of us will be posting to that one.
Thanks to everyone who has looked at the blog and I hope you will continue to do so at the new site.

Earth Oven Pizza
Mark has constructed an Earth Oven from sand, clay, and bricks, it is pretty darn impressive...
And here is the first succesful use of the oven - pizza! It was awesome and had a flavor like it came from a commercial wood fired brick oven. Fantastic! Unfortunately the only picture we have of it is this blurry one, but you get the idea.

We moved the McNuggets out to pasture today where they will grow into McChicken Supremes.
Here we are loading the chicks from the brooder into the "Chick Containment Devices".

New Chick Video!
I just realized that the camera we have takes videos! I wish I had figured that out sooner...
These are our 6 day old broiler chicks. They are just McNuggets now but will be 3-5 lbs in 8 weeks and delicious. We have 200 of them brooding in the dining room, they'll be moved out to pasture when they are about 2 weeks old.
